Thus, Ukrainian legislation provides for the right to compensation for persons who purchased housing during the construction phase or invested in unfinished construction projects that were damaged or destroyed as a result of hostilities.

However:

Legislative norms for these categories of persons have been defined, but the mechanisms for implementing compensation have not yet been fully implemented.
