Oksana*, contacted a lawyer from the STEP NGO seeking legal assistance with the registration of ownership rights to a residential house damaged as a result of hostilities in the State Register of Property Rights to Immovable Property (SRPR).
The absence of information on ownership rights in the SRPR made it impossible to submit an application for compensation under the eVidnovlennia (eRecovery) program.
The lawyer provided support throughout the preparation of technical documentation for the residential house and the entry of the required data into the Construction Activity Register. Due to difficult life circumstances, the woman required financial assistance to cover the costs of preparing the technical documentation. Thanks to the project, STEP NGO was able to cover these expenses and provide the necessary support.
Subsequently, the lawyer accompanied Oksana to the Administrative Services Centre (CNAP), as a result of which information on her ownership rights was finally entered into the State Register.
As a result of the legal assistance provided, the woman obtained the opportunity to use compensation mechanisms under the eVidnovlennia (eRecovery) program and to restore her violated property rights.
