What benefits are provided for the shelter of an internally displaced person?

The "Prehestok" (Shelter) program is currently active.

Thanks to this program, it is possible to receive cash compensation for free temporary accommodation of internally displaced persons (compensation to cover living expenses, including the payment of housing and utilities).

For the period from October 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023, the compensation is 30 hryvnias for each person-day (that is, approximately 900 hryvnias per month for one internally displaced person who is accommodated).

Important!

From October 1, 2022, compensation to persons who provide accommodation for IDPs will be paid cashless if there is no debt for utilities.
