How to apply for unemployed status at Diia?

There is a standard and simplified procedure to obtain unemployed status. 

Attention!

A simplified procedure is available only for persons with insurance record, who lost their job on the territories of active hostilities or on the territories temporarily not controlled by the government. 

To obtain unemployed status, it is required: 

1. To be authorized on diia.gov.ua portal.

2. To choose the service “Obtaining an unemployed status”. 

3. Then Diia would check your data regarding the submission of simplified application and would offer the form that would suit your situation.

4. While applying the standard application, it is required to fill out the questionnaire and upload the scan copies of the required documents.

5. Choose the employment centre convenient for you to visit. 

6. Enter the IBAN-account of your card for obtaining unemployment payments and the duration of payments.

7. Then Diia portal would generate 2 applications: in obtaining unemployed status and assigning the unemployment payments.

8. Check generated applications and click ‘Send”. 

In case of obtaining an unemployed status via simplified procedure, it is not required to upload the scan copies of sufficient documents.
