Every resident of Ukraine who arrives in Latvia or is already here will receive all medical services paid for by the Latvian state (including medicine), which are also available to residents of Latvia, free of charge.

Medical care for children
The Children's Hospital Fund provides assistance to the children of residents of Ukraine in coordinating the receipt of medical services, as well as financial support in receiving medical services that the state does not pay for, transportation to a medical institution, psychological assistance, medicines or medical devices. Management of pregnancy and childbirth
Residents of Ukraine in Latvia are provided with state-paid medical services for pregnancy and childbirth. More information about available services can be found here.
Medicines for the treatment of chronic diseases are issued according to a prescription issued in Ukraine, if such a prescription is written in legible handwriting or with the use of a computer or other technical means that allow for a clear prescription and on the condition that the prescription expired no more than 14 days ago.
