Do I need to pay utility bills if my home is located in a territory not under the control of the Government of Ukraine?

If you have been forced to leave your home, which is in a territory, not under the control of the Government of Ukraine, then in this case, you have the right not to pay utility bills.

Consumers who have temporarily left their homes can exercise their right to non-payment for utility bills if they provide the service provider with an application and a certificate from the temporary place of residence, medical treatment, military service, or a certificate of registration as an internally displaced person.

Relevant applications can be sent to the address of utility service providers using electronic means of communication.
