The war in Ukraine can significantly impact psychological well-being, leading to increased anxiety, general stress, and feelings of being overwhelmed by emotions. It is also common to experience changes in behavior and difficulties sleeping.
DRC Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) program helps people to reduce emotional distress, increase wellbeing and identify inner and external resources than can support them with coping in difficult times. Sessions are provided by qualified and trained staff that follows strict protocols of confidentiality, in the form of group sessions and tailored individual support.
Group Sessions: a series of 8 sessions conducted in person at the hromada level, available to both hromada members and primary care providers.
Individual Support is offered both in person and online, with the number of sessions tailored to the specific needs of each individual.

The DRC Psychosocial support programmes (PSS) aim to reduce distress and help people cope better with their lives. DRC offers individual support through both online and face-to-face modalities, as well as group support in communities. DRC ensures total confidentiality during both group and individual sessions.

Our toll-free number operates from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is managed by trained specialists. We provide in-person consultations in Kharkivska, Donetska, Dnipropetrovska, Mykolaivska, and Chernihivska Oblasts.
