What aid could Ukrainians get in France?

Share

Citizens of Ukraine who have been granted the status of a person in need of temporary protection may receive financial assistance from the French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFFI) upon receipt of a document confirming this status from the prefecture, upon their application, provided that the following conditions are met

- the person is not a citizen of one of the European Union member states;

- the person has entered the territory of France for less than 90 days;

- the person's income is less than the income of active solidarity (financial assistance in France for the unemployed or people with low incomes). As of 2023, this amount is 598.54 euros per month per person without children.

In addition, to receive the benefit, you will need to provide documents confirming your temporary protection, family composition and income. You will also need to provide OFFI with information about your professional activity, place of residence, marital status and property owned by you and/or your family members.

The amount of assistance is determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on your personal situation. The approximate amount of assistance is available here

After your application is approved by OFFI, you will receive an ADA card, which will be credited with the allowance and which you can use to pay for goods and services. However, you cannot transfer funds or withdraw cash from this card.
