What is the procedure of travelling abroad for volunteers?

1. Who has the right to leave:

  • Drivers who transport medical supplies or humanitarian aid for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations or the population of Ukraine.

2. Conditions of departure:

  • A decision to leave Ukraine.
  • Entering information about the person into the Shlyakh information system.

3. The procedure for obtaining a permit:

  • Application: Military or law enforcement agencies, military administrations, medical institutions, senders or recipients of humanitarian aid submit a letter of application to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine or regional (Kyiv city) military administrations.
  • Consideration: The relevant authority considers the request and makes a decision on granting permission to leave.
  • Entering into the Shlyakh system: After a positive decision is made, the driver's information is entered into the Shlyakh system.

4. Duration of stay abroad:

  • A permit for staying abroad is granted for no more than 30 days.
  • The decision to leave Ukraine is valid for the period determined by the relevant authority, but not more than six months.

Important:

  • In case of exceeding the established period of stay abroad, the relevant authority may cancel the decision to leave within 7 days from the moment the violation is recorded.
