What is the procedure for the relocation of Ukrainian companies located in the hostilities zone?

For Ukrainian businesses located in combat zones, a relocation program has been established to move production facilities to safer regions of Ukraine. This initiative aims to preserve economic activity and support businesses during martial law.

Steps to Participate in the Relocation Program

1. Application Submission:

• Submit an online application on the official website of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, specifying:
• Business name and EDRPOU (Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations of Ukraine) code.
• Production address.
• Specialization and production capabilities.
• Requirements for production facilities, raw materials, and employee accommodation.
• Method of equipment transportation.
• Number of employees and equipment.
• Estimated time for equipment installation at the new location.

2. Application Review:

• The Ministry of Economy promptly reviews the submitted applications.
• Priority is given to strategic enterprises and companies producing essential goods.

3. Relocation Arrangement:

• If the application is approved, assistance is provided in:
• Finding suitable production facilities in safer regions.
• Organizing the transportation of equipment and property.
• Arranging accommodation for employees.

4. Resumption of Operations:

• Once relocated, the business resumes its activities at the new location, considering local conditions and resources.

Important Notes

• Independent Relocation: Businesses capable of independently dismantling and transporting their equipment to the nearest station of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” receive priority in the relocation queue.
• Free Transportation: According to a resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, free transportation of domestic enterprises’ property is provided. The list of eligible enterprises is compiled by the Ministry of Economy and submitted to the Ministry of Infrastructure.
• Restrictions: Relocation is not conducted in active combat zones or via humanitarian corridors.
