According to Article 164, deprivation of parental rights occurs in the event of:

  • leaving a child in a maternity hospital or other institution without good reason;
  • evading the upbringing and education of a child;
  • cruel treatment, violence;
  • chronic alcoholism, drug addiction;
  • exploitation, coercion to beg;
  • conviction for committing an intentional criminal offense against a child.
