What are the features of certifying the wills of soldiers and other persons who are involved iin ensuring national security and defence?

Under a state of war, not only notaries can certify a soldier's will, but also commanders (Chiefs) of military formations (bodies) and other persons authorized by such a commander (Chief). Certification of a will by these individuals has been carried out in the general procedure: the authorized person, after establishing the identity of the serviceman and confirming their testamentary intention, certifies the will. Afterwards, the authorized person is required to send the certified will through the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, or another law enforcement agency to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine or its territorial body for its registration in the Register of Wills.
