Conditions for travelling outside Moldova may differ depending on the legal regime under which you stay on its territory.

Temporary protection

A person under temporary protection can leave the territory of the Republic of Moldova for up to 45 days in total. Exceeding this term may have negative consequences in the form of deprivation of such a person from temporary protection At the same time, before the trip, we recommend informing the state social protection authorities about such a trip.

Refugee status

A person who has received refugee status in the Republic of Moldova can leave its borders and return to Ukraine, but this will be grounds for depriving him/her of this status. At the same time, if a person returns to Ukraine, he/she must inform the Migration Bureau about this, declaring voluntary repatriation.
