What documents are required to cross the border into Ukraine with animals?

Key documents:
A veterinary and sanitary passport of the European standard or a certificate of animal health, which must contain:
Information on all mandatory annual vaccinations, including rabies vaccination.
Signature and seal of a licensed veterinarian.
A document about chipping an animal:
The chip must comply with international standards ISO 11784 or ISO 11785.
Information about chipping must be included in the veterinary passport.
Additional requirements:
If the animal is transported from countries with an unfavourable epizootic situation, an additional certificate of serological testing for rabies antibodies may be required.
Transportation of an animal by air, road, or rail may have additional requirements set by the carrier.
Note:
The documents must be executed in the official language of the country where they were issued or contain a translation into Ukrainian, if required by the border services.
