What is the liability for evading a conscription notice or failure to come to a military office upon requirement in the notice?

For evading delivery of conscription notices for conscription for military service during mobilization, for a special period, for military service upon conscription of reservists in a special period, or failure to appear on such notices, a person may be held criminally liable in the form of imprisonment for a term of 3 up to 5 years, and if notices were referred to educational (special) meetings – a fine from UAH 8,500 to UAH 11,900 or corrective works for up to 2 years.


If the conscription notice referred to a summons to clarify credentials or undergo a medical examination, the person may be held administratively liable in the form of a fine in the amount of UAH 3,400 to UAH 5,400. 


The type of liability depends on the type of conscription notice.
