Which disability group exempts from mobilization?

Share

People with all disability groups (I, II, and III) are exempt from mobilization.

  • This means that individuals with any disability group are not subject to being called up for military service.
  • However, if a person with a disability wants to serve, they can voluntarily join the military under contract—if a medical commission confirms they are fit for service.

Important:

Men with Group II or III disabilities who were granted disability status after February 24, 2022, must undergo a repeat medical examination to confirm their status. This applies to individuals aged 25 to 50.
