To report a war crime, you need to:
- Use the Unified State Hub for Collecting War Crimes Evidence:
- Visit the official website dedicated to collecting evidence.
- Fill in the form with the following information:
- Information about yourself (your data is protected by law).
- Details of the breach (exact location, time, circumstances, victims, damage, etc.).
- Attaching evidence:
- Attach photos, videos, or other documents to the application form that confirm the fact of the war crime.
- Typical examples of war crimes:
- Injury or killing of civilians.
- Using civilians as human shields.
- Deportation or illegal displacement of the population.
- Intentional destruction of civilian infrastructure or cultural sites.
- Alternative ways to report:
- Contact the law enforcement authorities of Ukraine.
- Report the crime through organisations that document war crimes (e.g. the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, international human rights organisations).
Important:
- All testimony and evidence must be accurate, clear and truthful, as it may be used in international courts.
