How can a person apply for an old-age pension if he/she is abroad?

It can be done remotely by applying for the assignment of an old-age pension through a personal electronic account on the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine at the link.

Scanned copies of such documents must be submitted together with the application for old-age pension:

1. passport;

2. taxpayer identification number (tax code);

3. documents on insurance records (diploma, employment book, military ID, etc.);

4. bank account details;

5. a photo for a pension certificate.

The application should be signed using a qualified electronic signature. If the person does not have a qualified electronic signature, he/she can obtain it remotely, using, for example, the services of PrivatBank, provided that he/she is already its client.
