Being under temporary protection, you can freely move around the country and the European Union, and also return to Ukraine.
If Ukrainian citizens have been granted temporary protection in Latvia (a visa or temporary residence permit has been issued, or a personal code has been assigned) and they are going to leave Latvia to return to Ukraine or to go to another country, then in such a case, it is necessary to submit an application to the Department of Affairs of citizenship and migration on cancellation of temporary protection status and visa or temporary residence permit.
