To bring pets to the Republic of Lithuania, the pet has to meet the following requirements:
o it has to have a vaccine against rabies, and the rabies titer has to meet the established numerical values;
o a blood sample taken at least 30 days after vaccination has to be tested for rabies antibodies in a laboratory;
o has been microchipped;
o has a veterinary passport.
Upon arrival in the country, if the pet does not have vaccines, you should write to [email protected] or contact the State Food and Veterinary Service of the Republic of Lithuania by phone (85) 240 4361. If the pet was vaccinated during a trip to the Republic of Lithuania, then 21 days after vaccination, the pet has to be quarantined at the owner's place of residence.
IMPORTANT!
It is allowed to bring more than 5 pets into the country only if such animals take part in competitions, exhibitions, and sports events.
