Labor rights

You can work in Italy if you have:

- a residence permit (for temporary, international or special protection); or

- a certificate issued by local police migration office after registration for a residence permit; and

- Italian tax number (provided when applying for a residence permit).

"Assolavoro" together with the trade unions "Nidil Cgil", "Felsa Cisl" and "Uiltemp" signed the Agreement on the support of persons enjoying international, temporary or special protection in order to facilitate the integration of persons temporarily displaced from Ukraine. Compliance with the law in Italy is monitored by trade unions and patronages, which at the same time protect the rights of workers.
