Financial assistance. You may be eligible for financial aid if you have been given temporary protection in Hungary (you already have a plastic card). The monthly aid payment is 22,800 forints for an adult and 13,700 forints for a kid. You can apply for this aid by submitting your plastic card to the Employment Service of the district government office. Simultaneously, you will be invited to engage in a job program. If a person is a Ukrainian refugee, their children may be eligible for free meals at a kindergarten or school.
If a person is an applicant or holder of temporary protection status, or if they have Hungarian citizenship, and they previously lived in Ukraine, their minor kid is entitled to free meals in a nursery, kindergarten, or school for at least 6 months.
To do so, you must apply for free meals as a Ukrainian refugee, submitting documentation as an applicant or holder of temporary protection status. You might inquire with the child's nursery, kindergarten, or school about how to apply for free lunches. Even though the 6-month term of free meals has expired, the child is still entitled to free meals if the Ukrainian family's monthly income does not exceed 200,564 Hungarian forints per person (including adults and children in the family).
