Dissolution of marriage with a person missing in special circumstances

Acquiring the status of a person missing under special circumstances does not change his/her marital status.
- The marriage is terminated in such cases:
- A person is declared dead - in this case, the marriage is terminated automatically.
- Divorce at the request of the other spouse if the person has been declared missing by a court.
- In this case, the divorce is carried out in a simplified manner through the civil registry office.
