An employee is called up for military service in February 2022. Is he entitled to annual leave for the period of service?

Vacation accrual period:
- From the date of call-up to July 18, 2022: for this period, the employee is accrued annual leave.
- From July 19, 2022: the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Optimization of Labour Relations” came into force, which changed the procedure for calculating vacation for mobilized employees.
Important: After July 19, 2022, annual leave for military service is not accrued.
Therefore, an employee is entitled to annual leave only for the period from the date of call-up to July 18, 2022.
