After obtaining temporary protection, Ukrainians have the same labor rights as French citizens and can work legally in France. Similarly, Ukrainian citizens who have been granted a residence permit are able to find official employment in France.
Employment relations between employer and employee can be formalised by two types of employment contracts - fixed-term and indefinite.
For employment, France provides Ukrainians with the opportunity to use the services of the Pôle emploi Employment Centre, which will find suitable vacancies. To do this, you need to register with the Pôle Emploi Employment Centre online on the Pôle Emploi website (an application form has been developed in Ukrainian specifically for Ukrainians) or directly at its nearest local office if you have difficulties with online registration. After registering with the Employment Centre, you officially become a "jobseeker" ("demandeur d'emploi"). You will then be invited to an interview, where you will be offered a number of job opportunities. This interview is mandatory.
You can also find a job on your own with the help of local job sites, which are similar to Ukrainian ones: you can post your CV and apply for the desired job. To do this, you need to register.
