If an agreement is reached:

1. Alimony amount set by a notarized agreement:

  • To change the alimony amount, the parents must enter into a new agreement.

2. New agreement:

  • Must be signed by both parties.
  • Requires mandatory notarization.

If no agreement is reached:

If the parents do not reach mutual agreement, the change in alimony amount is only possible through court proceedings.
