Procedure of travelling abroad by a reserved IT-specialist

Documents required to cross the border:

1. Extract from the decision of the Ministry of Economy on reservation:

• This is the main document confirming the postponement of conscription during mobilization. It is issued by the IT company that submitted the lists for exemption.
• It is certified by the signature of the head of the company.

2. Certificate of deferment from conscription:

• Issued by the Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support (TCRSS).
• It contains information about the deferment granted.

3. Notice of enrolment in special military registration:

• Issued by the TCRSS and confirms the enrolment of the booked employee.

Features of departure:

• The IT specialist must provide an extract from the decision of the Ministry of Economy and, if necessary, other documents confirming the reservation.
• The list of documents may depend on the requirements of the border checkpoint. It is recommended to check this list in advance.

Employees of government agencies:

• Exempted employees of state and local government agencies may travel abroad only on the basis of a business trip decision.
