Share

For women:

  • Female applicants and students of foreign educational institutions can travel abroad without the need to obtain additional documents.

For men (18-60 years old):

1. General rule:

  • Men between the ages of 18 and 60 are not allowed to travel abroad solely because they studied at a foreign university during martial law.

2. Exceptions:

  • Departure is allowed if a man:
  • Has other grounds for leaving (for example, belonging to categories exempt from mobilization).
  • Is a minor (under 18 years of age).
  • Started studying before the introduction of martial law (documented).

Required documents:

1. Passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad.

2. Documents confirming your studies:

  • Letter of enrolment in an educational institution.
  • Certificate or student ID card from a foreign university.

3. Additional documents (for men):

  • Military registration documents (military ID card, registration certificate).
  • Certificate of deferment from mobilization (if necessary).

Recommendation:

  • Before crossing the border, check with the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine for current requirements, as the rules are subject to change.
