Share

A forensic medical examination is not conducted in the following cases:

1. Death at the place of residence:

  • If the person died at home and was under medical supervision due to chronic diseases.
  • There are no signs of violent death or suspicion of such.

2. Death of an elderly person:

  • If the deceased person is over 60 years old.
  • The death occurred at the place of residence, and there are no signs of violent death or suspicion of such.

Note:

In such cases, death is confirmed by a doctor based on the results of an examination, and a medical death certificate is issued without a forensic medical examination.
