Share

The term “veteran” encompasses persons who directly participated in hostilities, those who provided support without active participation, and civilians affected by war. The analysis focuses on modern conflicts since 2014 and examines three categories: persons with special services to the Motherland, participants in hostilities (including volunteer combatants) and participants of war. Persons with disabilities caused by war are equated to veterans and are considered as their separate category.
