Who is subject to military registration?

The following persons are subject to mandatory military registration:

1. Conscripts:

• Boys from the age of 16 (in the year of reaching the age of 17) to 27.

2. Persons liable for military service and reservists:

• Persons who have not reached the age limit for being in the reserve:
• Up to 60 years (for soldiers and sergeants).
• Up to 65 years (for officers).

3. Women with a medical or pharmaceutical speciality:

• Women with a relevant speciality are obliged to register for military service.

Voluntary military registration:

• Women who have a speciality or profession related to the military registration specialities may register for military service on their own accord.
