Who and on what grounds can go abroad on a business trip?

Men

1. Civil servants, judges, prosecutors and other categories of officials:

  • Departure is possible upon presentation of business trip documents:
  • Business trip order.
  • A letter of appeal from the head of the company to the State Border Guard Service indicating the purpose of the business trip.
  • A full list of categories is available in the relevant regulations.

2. Persons permanently residing abroad:

  • Departure is permitted if permanent residence abroad is formalized through the territorial body of the State Migration Service (SMS).
  • Supporting documents:
  • Stamps/seals of permanent residence in the passport (booklet) or in the international passport.
  • Information about permanent residence in the electronic medium of the ID card.

3. Booked employees:

  • Departure is permitted subject to availability:
  • An extract from the decision of the Ministry of Economy on the reservation.
  • Certificate of deferment from conscription.
  • Notice of enrolment in special military registration.
  • Additional documents:
  • A business trip order if the employee is a civil servant, judge, prosecutor, etc.

4. Other categories of persons who are allowed to travel:

  • For example, men with three or more children, people with disabilities.

Women

1. Civil servants, judges, prosecutors and other categories of officials:

  • Travel is possible on the basis of official business trip documents:
  • Business trip order.
  • A letter of appeal from the head of the company to the Border Guard Service indicating the purpose of the business trip.

2. Other women:

  • Traveling abroad is allowed without restrictions.

  • All categories of persons must have documents confirming the grounds for traveling abroad.
  • Check the document requirements at the checkpoint.
