Can Ukrainian men abroad renounce their Ukrainian citizenship?

According to Ukrainian legislation, citizens of Ukraine who permanently reside abroad have the right to apply for renunciation of Ukrainian citizenship. However, this process involves specific conditions and restrictions:
1. Permanent Residence Abroad: Renunciation of citizenship is only available to individuals who are officially registered as permanently residing outside Ukraine.
2. Possession of Another Citizenship: The individual must hold the citizenship of another state or obtain a document confirming that they will acquire foreign citizenship upon renouncing their Ukrainian citizenship.
3. Absence of Legal Restrictions: Renunciation of citizenship is not permitted if the individual:
- Has received a notice of suspicion regarding the involvement in a criminal offense;
- Has a court conviction that has entered into legal force and is subject to enforcement.
