Can siblings be adopted by different people?

Main rule:
- Biological siblings who are on the adoption list cannot be separated during adoption.
Exception:
- The court, with the consent of the guardianship and custody authority, may decide:
- To adopt only one of them.
- To adopt the siblings by different individuals.
- Such a decision is made only in cases where there are significant circumstances (e.g., medical, social, or other factors).
Right to information:
- If the adoption is not confidential, siblings have the right to know about each other’s new place of residence.
