Can creditors forcibly evict me from my mortgaged home during martial law?

Share

No, they can't.

  • During the period of martial law and for 30 days after its termination or cancellation, the bank is not allowed to evict tenants from residential buildings mortgaged to them.

This prohibition applies to all tenants whose housing is subject to a mortgage.
