Does a volunteer have the right to go abroad to receive a humanitarian aid?

Yes, it does.

1. Volunteers are allowed to cross the border to transport

  • medical supplies;
  • humanitarian aid;
  • goods for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations and the population of Ukraine.

2. Border crossing is subject to availability:

  • A decision on travelling outside Ukraine made by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, regional or Kyiv city military administrations.
  • The person is entered into the Shlyakh information system, which is administered by The State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety.

3. Length of stay abroad:

  • No more than 30 days.
  • The decision on the possibility of departure is made for a period of up to 6 months (during which time the volunteer can leave the territory of Ukraine).
