Are there any restrictions concerning child’s first name that could be given by the parents?

Basic rules for determining the child's name:
The child's name is determined by mutual agreement of the parents.
In the case of a child born to an unmarried woman and in the absence of voluntary recognition of paternity, the name is determined by the child's mother.
Number of names:
A child may be given no more than two names, unless otherwise follows from the customs of the national minority to which the mother and/or father belong.
Disputes between parents:
If the parents cannot agree on the name of the child, the dispute is resolved:
By the guardianship and custody authority.
In a court of law.
Prohibitions on choosing a name:
The Ukrainian legislation does not explicitly define the list of prohibited names, but the Civil Registry Office has the right to refuse to register a name if it is offensive, contains symbols, numbers or contradicts the moral principles of society.
