What amount of compensation can you expect?

Compensation is paid at 100% of the minimum wage calculated on an hourly basis, as established on 1 January of the relevant year, for each hour of childcare. Payment is limited to a maximum of 165 hours per month.

As of 1 January 2026, this amount is UAH 8,647.

Parents or guardians pay the nanny directly. The state then reimburses these costs. Payment is transferred to the bank account specified in the application by the 10th day of the month following submission of proof of payment.Please note: the amount of compensation cannot exceed the actual amount paid for the service.

Receiving compensation for a Municipal Nanny does not affect entitlement to other social benefits and is not included when calculating household income for state social support.
