Recognition of ownership rights to inherited property using PravoVsim

Oleksandr, an internally displaced person, contacted the PravoVsim platform for assistance with formalising his inheritance rights to a residential house located in a temporarily non-government-controlled area of Ukraine.

Due to a notary’s refusal to issue a certificate of inheritance, he was unable to exercise his property rights.

After reviewing the documents, DRC lawyer explained the possible legal options and suggested filing a court claim for recognition of ownership by way of inheritance. Oleksandr decided to use this legal mechanism.

Following the court proceedings, the court recognised Oleksandr’s ownership of the residential house by way of inheritance, which enabled him to restore his violated right.

Thanks to legal assistance, Oleksandr was able to exercise his lawful right to the inherited property.
