How to continue the education of a child with special educational needs who was forced to move to a temporary place of residence?

Share

In order to continue the education of a child with special educational needs ("SEN"), it is necessary to (i) obtain a certificate of registration of an internally displaced person; and (ii) apply to the education department/educational institution at the place of temporary residence.

Documents to be submitted to the educational institution:

  • parents' application (other legal representatives) of a person with SEN with a request for admission to an educational institution; and
  • conclusion of a comprehensive psychological and pedagogical assessment of the child's development.

The head of the educational institution forms an inclusive class (group) and organizes inclusive education, taking into account the level of support recommended by the inclusive resource center ("IRC").
