Applying to the civil registry office:

• It is necessary to submit an application for state registration of the child's birth in the general procedure.

Documents required:

• Medical birth certificate of the child (form No. 103/о ) if the birth took place in a healthcare facility;
• Identity documents of the parents (or one of them);
• Marriage certificate (if available);
• In case of birth of a child outside a healthcare facility, a certificate issued by a medical professional, or in the absence of such a document, a court decision establishing the fact of birth.

Special conditions for the period of martial law:

• You can submit an application for birth registration at any working registry office, regardless of the parents' place of residence or the child's place of birth.

Registration by court order (if no documents are available):

• In case of loss of medical documents confirming the fact of birth, you should apply to the court to establish the fact of the child's birth.
• After receiving a court decision, apply to the Civil Registry Office for state registration of birth and obtain a certificate.
