Who can apply?

Relatives, friends, acquaintances, and other people who became aware of the missing person's disappearance can file an application for the search.


If a person has disappeared under special circumstances, such an application can also be submitted by:

- a representative of a military formation;

- a state authority;

- local government

- Public Association;

- Commissioner on the issues of persons missing under special circumstances;

- any other person who became aware of the person's disappearance.


How to Submit an Application for a Missing Person Search:

- mail a statement to the police department; 

- call 102 (round the clock); 

- call the National Police hotline 0894201867 (24/7)

- contact the local police department directly.


What should be stated in the application:

- date and location of the person's disappearance;

- profile data of such a person, including full name, date, month and year of birth;

- signs of the person (tattoos, scars, etc.);

- what numbered things (mobile phone, passport, etc.) were with the person at the time of disappearance;

- data of other persons who may also be aware of the facts of disappearance (kidnapping, capture) of a person;

- any other data and circumstances that may be relevant to the search for a missing person.
