How can an IDP register a car?

Internally displaced persons (IDPs) can register a car in the general procedure.

Where to apply?

  • To the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
  • To the ASC (if the car registration service is available).

Registration is possible regardless of the declared or registered place of residence.

List of required documents:

1. Application.

  • It is filled out on the spot at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the ASC.

2. An identity document.

  • Passport of a citizen of Ukraine.
  • eDocument (during martial law).

3. IDP certificate.

4. Identification code (TIN).

5. A power of attorney.

  • Provided if the documents are submitted by a representative.

6. A document confirming the right to the car.

  • Purchase and sale agreement.
  • Customs declaration.
  • Another document confirming the purchase or importation of a car.

7. A document confirming that the vehicle design meets road safety requirements.

  • For initial registration or installation of gas cylinder equipment.

8. A document indicating the value of the vehicle.

9. Technical passport (if available).

10. License plates (if any).

11. Receipt of payment of the administrative fee.

1 business day.

  • Vehicle registration certificate
  • License plates (if needed)
