How IDP to apply for free temporary housing?

Procedure:

  1. Application: Submit an application for registration of citizens in need of housing to the authorised local authority at the place of your registration as an IDP.
  2. Documents to be attached to the application:
  • A copy of your identity documents (passport, ID card).
  • A copy of the IDP registration certificate and certificates of family members (if available).
  • Copies of documents on family relations (birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.).
  • A copy of the certificate of assignment of the RNOKPP (except for persons who have a corresponding mark in their passport).
  • Documents confirming the right to priority (e.g. large family, pregnancy, disability, etc.).

Preferential categories for priority housing allocation:

  • Large families.
  • Families with children.
  • Pregnant women.
  • Persons who have lost their ability to work.
  • Persons of retirement age whose housing has been destroyed or has become uninhabitable.

The process of obtaining:

  1. The authorised body makes a decision on registration or refusal within one working day after the application is submitted.
  2. If the decision is positive, an order to move into the dwelling is issued.
  3. Upon receipt of the warrant, a housing agreement is concluded with the authorised body.

Term of use of housing:

  • Housing is provided for a period of up to one year with the possibility of extension, provided that the IDP status is maintained and there is no other place of residence.

Features:

  • The housing stock is formed by local authorities through the construction, reconstruction or purchase of housing.
  • In the event of destruction or damage to one's own housing, this is confirmed by an application from the applicant or his or her family.

Use of housing:

  • Residential premises are provided free of charge for temporary use.
