1. Determining the status of the goods

  • Before transferring the aid, it is necessary to find out the status of the goods:
  • If goods are imported as humanitarian aid, they cannot be sold or used for profit.
  • Charitable donations cannot be the subject of commercial transactions (sale, exchange, etc.).
  • Violation of these requirements may result in criminal liability.

2. Registration of the transfer of assistance

  • Volunteer assistance must be officially transferred with the execution of an acceptance certificate.

3. What should the transfer and acceptance certificate contain?

1) Date and place of transfer of aid.

2) Data of the parties:

  • Who is transferring the aid (individual entrepreneur, organisation or individual).
  • Who receives the aid (legal entity, charity, military unit, etc.).
  • For legal entities: full name, EDRPOU (National State Registry of Ukrainian Enterprises and Organizations)code, location.

3) Document confirming the ownership (if any).

4) Detailed description of the property:

  • Name, quantity, condition.
  • For vehicles: make, model, registration number, chassis number, year of manufacture.

5) Signatures of the parties (transferor and recipient).

6) Seals (if any).
