How to register as a volunteer in the tax authorities?

If you plan to receive funds for volunteering, you must register with the Unified Register of Volunteers. The register is maintained by the State Tax Service of Ukraine (STS).

1. How to register in the register of volunteers?

• To be included in the register, you need to submit an application in the prescribed form to any STS office:
• In person at the STS office;
• By mail (registered letter);
• Through an authorised representative (with a notarised power of attorney).

2. Documents to be attached to the application:

• A copy of the identification code or a copy of the passport (in the absence of TIN);
• A bank certificate on opening/closing an account in the form No. 4-RV (this account must be intended for charitable activities).

3. Registration period:

• The State Tax Service shall include the volunteer in the Unified Register of Volunteers within 1 working day from the date of receipt of the application.
