If you do not wish to carry out activities as a private entrepreneur, you can carry out business activities in other forms:
Limited liability company (SRL)
- The most popular form of business.
- The minimum amount of authorised capital is EUR 10,000 if there is one shareholder.
- There are no citizenship requirements, but the director can be an EU citizen.
- Tax reports have to be submitted once a year, and VAT reports – quarterly.
Joint stock company (SPA)
- The minimum amount of the share capital is EUR 120,000.
- Liability depends on the contribution to the shared capital.
- Accounting reports must be submitted to the Commercial Register.
- There must be at least 1 director.
- Investors can also be foreigners.
Partnership (SAS)
- A small company with an annual turnover of no more than EUR 2,000,000.
- Investors may or may not manage the company.
