Procedure in case of finding the deceased person at the place of residence and death of natural causes.

1. Notification of the doctor:

• Contact the family doctor with whom the deceased person signed a declaration.
• In the absence of communication, call an ambulance.

1. Actions of the doctor:

• The doctor examines the body of the deceased and establishes the fact of death.
• Based on the results of the examination, the doctor notifies the National Police of Ukraine of the fact of death by calling the emergency number 102.

1. Police actions:

• Police officers arrive at the scene to verify the circumstances of the death and establish its non-violent nature.

1. Documentation:

• After confirming the fact of non-violent death, the doctor issues a medical death certificate.

Note:

A medical death certificate is the main document for registering a death with the state civil registry office (Civil Registry Office).
