Yes, you have the right to visit any primary care doctor (general practitioner, paediatrician) if you cannot contact your family doctor.

Documents required:

  • Identity document (passport, refugee card, etc.);
  • Certificate of taxpayer registration number (identification code);
  • Birth certificate of the child, if the child needs medical care.

Additional information for the doctor:

  • Information about the medicines that the patient takes regularly;
  • Surname, name, patronymic of your family doctor (if known).

Change of family doctor:

If necessary, you can also sign a declaration with another primary care physician. To do this, you need to contact the medical institution of the chosen doctor and provide the above documents.
