You can withdraw from Temporary Protection status only in person at:
To ensure you visit the correct centre (as not all staff may be familiar with the process), it is recommended to go to the location where the NIE (Número de Identidad de Extranjero – Foreigner
Identification Number in Spain) is issued to Ukrainians. Note that NIE is not the same as TIE (Foreigner Identity Card).

Temporary Protection Withdrawal Process
1. Fill out and sign two copies of the withdrawal application form (a sample form will be provided at the police station).
2. Keep one signed copy for your records. A stamped copy from the police station may be useful if you plan to move to another country, even if your visa-free travel days have been utilised.
3. At the police station, your NIE and TIE will be collected.
Important: The date of submitting the application is not the same as the official date of withdrawal from Temporary Protection. Your application must first be registered with the Spanish Ministry of Inclusion, Social Protection and Migration, which may take several days. However, this delay does not prevent you from relocating to another country. Once a new status is granted in the new country, the previous one is automatically cancelled.
Steps to Take After Withdrawing from Temporary Protection
Recommendations:
Make copies of all your documents in advance, as police stations often do not provide printing facilities. You can use the scanning function on your mobile phone to create digital copies. Ensure you store these securely.
